Seventh-ranked Aabyhoj (2-13) made lots of trouble for third ranked Lemvig (10-5). The visitors from Lemvig managed to secure only three-point victory 82-79. However their fans expected much easier game. Aabyhoj was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 21-17 charge of Lemvig, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American guard Gillian Abshire (175-93, college: Quinnipiac) who led her team to a victory with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import power forward Tori Waldner (196-93, college: Penn St.) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Enna Pehadzic (178-97) replied with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Julie Hoier (185-95) added 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Aabyhoj. Five Lemvig and four Aabyhoj players scored in double figures. Lemvig maintains third position with 10-5 record having four points less than leader Stevnsgade. Aabyhoj lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Lemvig will play against Horsholm (#5) at home in the next round. Aabyhoj will play against SISU in Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
