The game in Telsiu was also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Zalgiris II (17-13) played at the court of 7th ranked Telsiai (14-17). Zalgiris II managed to secure a 9-point victory 82-73. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 32-16. But Telsiai won second period 24-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Paulius Valinskas (190-95) nailed 28 points and 5 assists for the winning side and swingman Martynas Varnas (196-97) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Zalgiris II players scored in double figures. Zalgiris II's coach Tomas Masiulis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Laurynas Kaveckis (190-90) came up with 23 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Telsiai in the defeat. Zalgiris II have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Palanga. Telsiai lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 17 games lost. Zalgiris II's next round opponent will be league's leader Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
