Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked UBSC Graz (8-16) lost at home to seventh ranked Raiffeisen Wels (11-13) 87-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Raiffeisen Wels led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Raiffeisen Wels forced 19 UBSC Graz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for the former international Davor Lamesic (205-83, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard Devante Wallace (196-92, college: High Point) contributed with 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Slovenian guard Jure Pelko (190-90) replied with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and Slovenian forward Elvis Kadic (201-80) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for UBSC Graz. Four UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. Raiffeisen Wels have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Arkadia. UBSC Graz at the other side stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Raiffeisen Wels will face league's second-placed Redwell Gunners Oberwart at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. UBSC Graz will play against Vienna (#3) in Wien and hope to win that game.
