Very important is a home loss of third ranked Blyskavky (4-2) against fourth ranked Frankivsk (4-2) on Saturday night. Host Blyskavky was defeated by Frankivsk in Vinnytsia 80-62. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Frankivsk's pressure prevailed and they won that period 24-12 extending their advantage to 18 points. Worth to mention a great performance of Anna Stafiuk who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Viktoriya Karyeva (187-92) contributed with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Center Oksana Stepanyuk (190-95) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Iryna Zhmurko (181-96) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Blyskavky. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Frankivsk moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Blyskavky. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
