Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Nafta-Uni. (13-18) and Rasai (12-19), which took place in Klaipeda. 8th ranked Nafta-Uni. lost at home to eleventh ranked Rasai 85-93 on Saturday. Nafta-Uni. was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 32-21 charge of Rasai, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Zydrunas Kelys (187-87) notched 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and American guard Gabriel Moton (191-91, college: Brandeis) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 21 points and 7 rebounds by Dziugas Slavinskas (200-98) did not help to save the game for Nafta-Uni.. Center Deividas Keburys (202-90) added 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Rasai and five Nafta-Uni. players scored in double figures. Rasai have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eleventh position with 12-19 record. Loser Nafta-Uni. dropped to the tenth place with 18 games lost. Rasai will meet at home higher ranked Silute (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nafta-Uni. will play against Ezerunas-Karys in Moletai and hope to secure a win.
