Regular Season Round 17: Proleter Naftagas - Dynamic BG 89-76

2MLS round 17 caused change at the leadership position. Fourth defeat of league's leader Dynamic BG (13-4) against sixth ranked Proleter Naftagas (10-7) 89-76 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dynamic BG. The game was mostly controlled by Proleter Naftagas. Dynamic BG managed to win fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Proleter Naftagas made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Dynamic BG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Slobodan Lalic (195-86, agency: Beo Basket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Filip Vukosavljevic (205-83) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Proleter Naftagas players scored in double figures. Guard Aleksandar Radulovic (190-88, agency: Beo Basket) answered with 28 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and naturalized Croatian guard Mladen Pavlovic (193-89) added 17 points in the effort for Dynamic BG. Proleter Naftagas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Vojvodina NS and Pirot. Newly promoted Dynamic BG still keeps top position with four games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Velika Plana who have the same record. Dynamic BG will play next round against league's leader Velika Plana trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Proleter Naftagas will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Vojvodina NS in Novi Sad.
