Sixth ranked Istanbul Uni (10-9) crushed at home 10th ranked Botas (8-11) by 36 points 96-60, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. At the losing side Montenegrin power forward Milica Jovanovic (189-89) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American power forward Avery Warley (190-87, college: Liberty) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Istanbul Uni maintains sixth place with 10-9 record. Loser Botas dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Istanbul Uni will face Adana ASKI (#13) in Mersin in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas will play on the road against Canik Bld (#7) in Samsun and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
