Second Stage Round 7: SDYUSHOR-4 - ONMU-Vimar 63-42

Undefeated ONMU-Vimar (1-1) recorded its first loss in Mykolaiv on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by leader SDYUSHOR-4 (2-0) 63-42. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game without a history. SDYUSHOR-4 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ONMU-Vimar to just 5 points in third quarter. SDYUSHOR-4 dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to ONMU-Vimar's 24. SDYUSHOR-4 forced 24 ONMU-Vimar turnovers. Guard Nika Korinna (170-96) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Anna Chechetkina (180-95) chipped in 15 points and 4 steals. Center Anastasia Usova (185-90) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Julia Gladchenko (184-77) added 8 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. SDYUSHOR-4 moved-up to second place. ONMU-Vimar at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with SDYUSHOR-5. SDYUSHOR-4 are looking forward to face Kondicioner (#3) in Kharkov in the next round, which may be the game of the day. ONMU-Vimar will have a break next round.
