Bottom-ranked Aabyhoj managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of five consecutive losses on Sunday night. This time they won against seventh-ranked SISU in Copenhagen 73-69. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-69. Strangely SISU outrebounded Aabyhoj 41-19 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Enna Pehadzic (178-97) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Stephanie Mannemar Jensen (180-90) contributed with 12 points for the winners. American forward Olivia Applewhite (183-91, college: Dayton) answered with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 23 rebounds and point guard Julie Ilsby (173-95) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for SISU. Aabyhoj (3-13) moved-up to sixth place. SISU lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Aabyhoj are looking forward to face higher ranked Horsholm (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SISU will play against Amager in Kastrup and is hoping to win this game.
