Not a big story in a game in Bursa where 16th ranked Final Genclik (6-15) was edged by third ranked Gediz (16-5) 76-73 on Tuesday. Final Genclik was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) stepped up and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Demontez Stitt (187-89, college: Clemson, agency: HMS) chipped in 16 points. The best for the losing side was American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina, agency: Two Points) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Daishon Knight (185-91, college: Illinois St.) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Final Genclik's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gediz maintains third place with 16-5 record having five points less than leader Tofas. Final Genclik lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. Gediz will face Adanaspor (#17) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Final Genclik will play against Sakarya BSB in Sakaraya and hope to win that game.
