Everything went according to plan in Ankara where third ranked Cankaya (13-3) won against 9th ranked Alanya Bld (5-12) 85-73 on Friday. Cankaya forced 21 Alanya Bld turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Alanya Bld's players. The best player for the winners was Hande Celebi (-90) who scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Azerbaijani center Marcedes Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Cankaya's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
