Very expected game in Raseiniai where 13th ranked Silute (14-18) was defeated by eighth ranked Rasai (13-19) 93-84. Silute was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 29-16 charge of Rasai, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 26 Silute turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Valdemaras Savostjanovas (200-84) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists. American guard Gabriel Moton (191-91, college: Brandeis) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Center Aurelijus Pukelis (206-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and forward Edvinas Alunderis (202-92) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Silute. Five Rasai and four Silute players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Rasai went down to tenth position due to points difference, which they share with Nafta-Uni. Silute at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 18 games lost. Rasai's next round opponent will be again higher ranked Silute (#9) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
