Second Stage Round 8: Blyskavky - Dynamo-NPU 72-65

An interesting game for Blyskavky (6-2) which hosted in Vinnytsia second-ranked Dynamo-NPU (6-2). Third ranked Blyskavky managed to get a 7-point victory 72-65. Blyskavky dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Dynamo-NPU's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of center Oksana Stepanyuk (190-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Cynthia Omoboogunje (185-94) who added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) during the contest. The former international swingman Iryna Tsekova (177-78) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Viktoriya Kondus (170-97) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Blyskavky moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Dynamo-NPU. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
