An interesting game took place in Quakenbrueck where higher ranked Artland Dragons (11-9) were upset on its own court by twelfth ranked SC Rist Wedel (6-14) 68-56 on Saturday. Artland Dragons were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian Aurimas Adomaitis (205-87, college: LIU Brooklyn) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Helge Baues (205-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Austin Bragg (206-91, college: W.Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and forward Benjamin Fumey (203-87, college: Valparaiso) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Artland Dragons' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. SC Rist Wedel moved-up to eleventh place in North. Loser Artland Dragons keep the sixth position with nine games lost. SC Rist Wedel will face higher ranked RSV Eintracht (#8) in Stahnsdorf in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
