Rather predictable result when ninth ranked RSV Eintracht (7-13) defeated on the road 11th ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (5-15) 71-65 on Saturday. SG Schwelmer Baskets were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kenneth Cooper (208-87, college: UAB) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Colin Craven (183-94, college: Kirtland CC) who added 13 points during the contest. Cooper is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. American swingman Domonique Crawford (196-84, college: Youngstown St.) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Frederik Henningsen (198-88) scored 15 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. RSV Eintracht moved-up to eighth place in North, which they share with Hertener Loewen and Recklinghausen. SG Schwelmer Baskets lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with 15 games lost. RSV Eintracht will face SC Rist Wedel (#11) on the road in the next round. SG Schwelmer Baskets will play against Oldenburg and hope to win that game.
