Regular Season Round 18: SC Kryvbas - Cherkasy 69-60

An interesting game for SC Kryvbas (21-4) which hosted in Kryvyi Rih 4th ranked Cherkasy (16-10). First ranked SC Kryvbas managed to get a 9-point victory 69-60. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-15 Cherkasy's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 69-60 at the end of the game. SC Kryvbas made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. International swingman Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Igor Boyarkin (185-95) chipped in 16 points during the contest. SC Kryvbas' coach Valeriy Plehanov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was international forward Alexander Sizov (199-88) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Oleksandr Kobets (194-96) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. SC Kryvbas have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Newly promoted SC Kryvbas maintains first position with 21-4 record. Cherkasy at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. SC Kryvbas will play against league's second-placed Khimik in Yuzhny in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cherkasy will play at home against VolinBasket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
