The game between Top Four teams took place in Wolfenbuettel. Second ranked host Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (15-5) defeated one of their biggest challengers Rostock (12-8) 79-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rostock. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American guard Matthew Hunter (196-90, college: Cent.Conn.St.) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Herzoege Wolfenbuettel maintains second position in North with 15-5 record behind leader Iserlohn. Rostock at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. They share the position with Bochum and Oldenburg. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel will play against Recklinghausen (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rostock will play against the league's leader Iserlohn (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
