The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 21-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Horsholm dominated on the defensive end, holding Aabyhoj to just 6 points in second quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Ashley Ezeh (185, college: Texas St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Horsholm's coach Jose Vazquez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Julie Hoier (185-95) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Enna Pehadzic (178-97) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Defending champion maintains fifth position with 7-10 record. Aabyhoj at the other side keeps the sixth place with 14 games lost. Horsholm are looking forward to face league's leader Stevnsgade on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aabyhoj will play against the league's second-placed Virum (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
