Regular Season Round 24: Bakken - Naestved 88-78

Date: February 21, 2016
The game between Top Four teams took place in Aarhus. Second ranked host Bakken (19-5) defeated one of their biggest challengers Naestved (16-10) 88-78. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and the former international guard Darko Jukic (199-90, agency: Two Points) who added 15 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Caleb Walker (193-89, college: Nebraska) with 18 points and international forward Alexander Bak (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 15 points. Five Bakken and four Naestved players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bakken have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 19-5 record having four points less than leader Horsens IC. Naestved at the other side keeps the third place with ten games lost. Bakken are looking forward to face Svendborg (#4) on the road in the next round. Naestved will play against Horsholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
