Point guard Alfrie Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) answered with 20 points and 7 assists and forward Mike Davis (205-88, college: Illinois) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Balikesir. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Balikesir's coach Mete Babaoglu let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Final Genclik moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Bandirma Kir. Loser Balikesir keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Final Genclik will face higher ranked Gelisim (#9) in Izmir in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
