There was no surprise when 11th ranked Bursa BSB (4-14) lost to ninth ranked Urla BLD (7-11) in Izmir 54-58 on Saturday. It was a good game for American center Molly Schlemer (196-92, college: Cal Poly - SLO) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Didem Suer (188-77) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Montenegrin forward Milka Bjelica (193-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and the former international Didem Nakas (173-94) added 9 points in the effort for Bursa BSB. Urla BLD moved-up to eighth place in Group B. Loser Bursa BSB keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Urla BLD will face higher ranked Istanbulgucu (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bursa BSB will play against Alanya Bld (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
