Regular Season Round 25: SISU - Horsens IC 79-103

Leader Horsens IC delivered the twenty fourth win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked SISU (3-23) 103-79 in Copenhagen. The game without a history. Horsens IC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Horsens IC outrebounded SISU 41-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) fired a triple-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. International guard Gabriel Lundberg (193-94) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. American Maurice Creek (196-90, college: G.Washington, agency: CGL Sports) produced 23 points (made all of his eight free throws) and Montenegrin center Zivojin Grubovic (207-85) added 15 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsens IC (24-1) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. SISU lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Horsens IC are looking forward to face Svendborg (#4) at home in the next round. SISU will play against Randers (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
