Very expected game when 11th ranked Hrastnik (3-12) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Plama Pur (9-6) 78-67 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Plama Pur. Hrastnik managed to win third quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Leon Santelj (204-95) who scored 30 points. Forward Alen Katonar (200-92) chipped in 8 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Bosnian power forward Fuad Memcic (210-82, agency: Promotex) who recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Dejan Dunovic (193-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively. Hrastnik's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Plama Pur moved-up to fourth place. Hrastnik lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Slovan. Plama Pur will meet at home Grosuplje (#5) in the next round. Hrastnik will play against Slovan (#12) in Ljubljana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
