Regular Season Round 19: TED Kolejliler - Darussafaka 71-84

Very predictable result in Ankara where fifth ranked Darussafaka (12-7) defeated 12th ranked TED Kolejliler (7-12) 84-71 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great evening for American guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-92, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. His fellow American import swingman Reggie Redding (196-88, college: Villanova) helped adding 8 points and 7 assists. At the losing side Montenegrin power forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Kalin Lucas (185-89, college: Michigan St.) scored 18 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Four TED Kolejliler players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Darussafaka moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Karsiyaka. TED Kolejliler lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Darussafaka will face Yesilgiresun (#14) in Giresun in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TED Kolejliler will play on the road against Konyaspor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
