Second Stage Round 9: Rasai - Delikatesas 73-77

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when twelfth ranked Delikatesas (13-21) defeated 11th ranked Rasai (13-21) in Raseiniai 77-73. Rasai was ahead by 10 points after three quarters before a 22-8 charge of Delikatesas, which allowed them to win the game. Power forward Rokas Cepanonis (207-89) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Zydrunas Kelys (187-87) with 23 points and American guard Gabriel Moton (191-91, college: Brandeis) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Delikatesas moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated Rasai. Delikatesas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rasai will play again at home against Delikatesas (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
