Regular Season Round 26: Randers - SISU 84-94

Bottom-ranked SISU managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the six-game losing streak. This time they won against sixth-ranked Randers 94-84. Randers were ahead by 11 points at the halftime before a 49-28 second half run of SISU. Strangely Randers outrebounded SISU 50-34 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American Maurice Creek (196-90, college: G.Washington, agency: CGL Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Montenegrin center Zivojin Grubovic (207-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). SISU's coach Alain Pierre Attallah allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international swingman Chris Nielsen (192-85) produced 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American power forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five SISU and four Randers players scored in double figures. SISU maintains eighth position with 4-23 record. Randers lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 19 games lost. SISU's next round opponent will be higher ranked Horsholm (#5) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
