Cherno More managed to secure a 5-point victory 95-90 on Saturday. Cherno More dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Pleven's 26. The winners were led by power forward Denislav Vutev (206-94, agency: Promotex) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and naturalized Cypriot guard Angel Natskin (184-93) supported him with 26 points and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds by Montenegrin-Serbian center Milovan Savic (205-87) did not help to save the game for Spartak Pleven. The former international guard Aleksandar Gruev (187-83) added 22 points and 6 assists for the guests. Four Spartak Pleven players scored in double figures. Cherno More moved-up to fifth place. Loser Spartak Pleven dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Cherno More will meet at home Levski 2014 (#7) in the next round. Spartak Pleven will play against Rilski in Samokov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
