The game with biggest result difference took place in Ilirska Bistrica. Local Plama Pur (9-7) was outscored by fifth ranked Grosuplje (10-7) 82-61 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-61. Grosuplje dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Plama Pur's 34. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international center Ales Kunc (208-73, college: Missouri St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds and forward Matic Sirnik (198-91) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Grosuplje's coach Tomaz Fartek felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Tilen Zalar (189-87) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Grosuplje moved-up to fourth place. Loser Plama Pur dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Sezana and Konjice. Grosuplje will meet at home bottom-ranked Slovan (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Plama Pur will play against the league's second-placed Branik (#2) in Maribor and hope to secure a win.
