Regular Season Round 24: Sakarya BSB - Denizli 63-66

The most interesting game of round 24 in the TBL was only three-point a home defeat of 5th ranked Sakarya BSB (16-8) to fourth ranked Denizli (17-7) 66-63 in the game for the fourth place. It ended the two-game winning streak of Sakarya BSB. Denizli made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Sakarya BSB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Hilton Armstrong (210-84, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 21 rebounds and the other American import point guard Kenny Boynton (188-91, college: Florida) who added 24 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was FYR Macedonian-American point guard Darius Washington (188-85, college: Memphis) with 23 points and American Sean Evans (203-88, college: St.John's) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Denizli have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 17-7 record. Sakarya BSB at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Denizli are looking forward to face Balikesir (#6) at home in the next round. Sakarya BSB will play against Istanbul DSI and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
