The game between Top Four teams took place in Nis. 3rd placed host Konstantin (16-7) was smashed by first ranked FMP (21-2) 87-59. The game without a history. FMP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 24 Konstantin turnovers. Konstantin was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Dragan Apic (206-95) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Ognjen Dobric (198-94) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. Vladimir Djordjevic (194-90) came up with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Strahinja Stojacic (197-92, agency: Beo Basket) added 8 points and 5 assists respectively for Konstantin in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. FMP have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-2 record. Konstantin at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. FMP will play against bottom-ranked KK Jagodina (#14) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Konstantin will play against Vojvodina (#13) in Novi Sad and hopes to get back on the winning track.
