Rather expected game in Zaporozhye where 9th ranked Infiz Basket (3-25) was rolled over by sixth ranked Zaporizhya (12-18) 108-73 on Thursday. The game without a history. Zaporizhya led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Zaporizhya outrebounded Infiz Basket 43-21 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Zaporizhya looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Infiz Basket's players. The best player for the winners was forward Anton Buts (201-88) who scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Stanislav Ovdeyenko (191-84) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Zaporizhya players scored in double figures. Coach Dmitro Shyglinskiy's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Anton Dziuba (204-95) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Igor Dobrikov (193-90) added 20 points respectively for the guests. Despite that victory Zaporizhya went down to seventh position due to points difference. Infiz Basket lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Zaporizhya will have a break next round. Infiz Basket will play on the road against VolinBasket (#8) in Lutsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
