The game in Siauliai was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Utena (21-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Siauliai-Univ. (3-20). Utena did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 95-78. The game was mostly controlled by Utena. Siauliai-Univ. was better in third quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Utena won last quarter 22-7. American swingman Deja Mattox (182-89, college: Indiana St.) replied with 24 points and forward Silvija Kuodiene (181-81) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Siauliai-Univ.Five Utena and four Siauliai-Univ. players scored in double figures. Utena have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Suduva. Siauliai-Univ. lost third consecutive game.
