We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Leverkusen where 14th ranked ETB Wohnbau (7-20) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Bayer Giants (6-21) 77-71 on Friday. The best player for the winners was American guard Rod Camphor (191-92, college: SW Oklahoma St.) who scored 31 points and 4 assists. Center Dennis Heinzmann (216-91) chipped in 7 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Johnathan Loyd (173-91, college: Oregon) who recorded 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Paul Albrecht (205-93) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
