Rather expected game in Raseiniai where 14th ranked Lietkabelis-2 (7-29) was rolled over by twelfth ranked Rasai (14-21) 96-76 on Friday. The game without a history. Rasai led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Lietkabelis-2 turnovers. Rasai looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Zydrunas Kelys (187-87) who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Center Vilius Sumskis (213-84, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Five Rasai players scored in double figures. Forward Benas Bagdonavicius (202-91) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and guard Simonas Slivka (195-86) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Rasai moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Delikatesas. Lietkabelis-2 lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 29 lost games. Rasai will face Ezerunas-Karys (#13) in Moletai in the next round. Lietkabelis-2 will play at home against Delikatesas and hope to win that game.
