Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Trabzonspor (9-12) won against at home bottom-ranked Turk Telekom (5-15) 76-65 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 49-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American swingman J.P. Prince (203-87, college: Tennessee) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Polish power forward Damian Kulig (205-87, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Manny Harris (196-89, college: Michigan) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) added 12 points in the effort for Turk Telekom. Turk Telekom's coach Hakan Demir rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trabzonspor moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Turk Telekom dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. Trabzonspor will face Istanbul BSB (#15) on the road in the next round. Turk Telekom will play against the league's leader Anadolu Efes where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
