Everything could happen in Adana at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Botas and 10th ranked Gelistirenler had identical 8-12 record. This time Botas used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Istanbul 70-63. American power forward Avery Warley (190-87, college: Liberty) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and her fellow American import D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Botas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Courtney Vandersloot (173-89, college: Gonzaga) with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Swedish Abdi Farhiya (188-92) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Botas (9-12) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Besiktas. Gelistirenler lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Botas will play against higher ranked Galatasaray (#5) in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gelistirenler will play at home against Canik Bld (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
