No shocking result in a game when second ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (16-5) crushed 10th ranked Demir IBB (9-11) in Istanbul 86-64 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-64. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fenerbahce Ulker made 8 blocks. It was a good game for Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 8 rebounds. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) contributed with 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Antywane Robinson (203-84, college: Temple, agency: Priority Sports) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and American-Tunisian Michael Roll (197-87, college: UCLA) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Demir IBB. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fenerbahce Ulker maintains second place with 16-5 record having just one point less than leader Anadolu Efes. Demir IBB lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. Fenerbahce Ulker will face Karsiyaka (#6) on the road in the next round. Demir IBB will play against Usak Sportlif (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
