Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Istanbul Uni and 7th ranked Canik Bld had identical 10-10 record. This time Istanbul Uni used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Samsun 75-63. American players dominated the game. Point guard Tan White (170-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals for the winners and power forward Elizabeth Williams (190-93, college: Duke) chipped in 16 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Essence Carson (183-86, college: Rutgers) with 19 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Natasha Lacy (178-85, college: UTEP) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Istanbul Uni maintains sixth place with 11-10 record. Canik Bld at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Istanbul Uni will play against league's second-placed Hatay on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Canik Bld will play against Gelistirenler (#10) in Istanbul and hopes to get back on the winning track.
