Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kaunas: Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas (#4) and Aistes-LSU (#7). Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas (12-12) crushed visiting Aistes-LSU (2-22) by 46 points 95-49. The game without a history. Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aistes-LSU to just 6 points in second quarter. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas maintains fourth place with 12-12 record. Aistes-LSU lost their nineteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 22 lost games.
