Kakanj (1-1) recorded a loss in Trebinje. Visitors were rolled over by Leotar (1-1) 79-59. The game was mostly controlled by Leotar. Kakanj was better in third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Kakanj's 18. Swingman Dejan Sakotic (195-93) scored 13 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Montenegrin forward Bojan Pelkic (204-83) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. Five Leotar players scored in double figures. Leotar's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Croatian swingman Zeljko Palavra (194-82) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Eldar Merdanovic (200-93) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Leotar will play against Spars Sarajevo (#6) on the road in the next round. Kakanj will play against Igokea to get more than just one victory in their record.
