Regular Season Round 22: Yakin Dogu - Fenerbahce 69-73

KBSL top team - Fenerbahce (18-4) added another victory to their record on Thursday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Yakin Dogu (7-15) in Lefkosa 73-69. American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Hungarian-American guard Allie Quigley (178-86, college: De Paul) chipped in 17 points during the contest. At the losing side American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: Connecticut) scored 20 points. Fenerbahce have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-4 record. Yakin Dogu lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Edirne. Fenerbahce are looking forward to face Adana ASKI (#13) in Mersin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Yakin Dogu will play on the road against Edirne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
