The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Haskovo 2012 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Haskovo 2012 defeated 4th placed Neftochimic at home 96-82. The game was mostly controlled by Haskovo 2012. Neftochimic managed to win second period 26-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Haskovo 2012 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Neftochimic's 32 and made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game.
