Rather expected game in Istanbul where 9th ranked Besiktas (10-12) was defeated by seventh ranked Royal Hali (12-10) 95-84 on Saturday. Besiktas was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 31-18 charge of Royal Hali, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. American-Bulgarian guard Earl Calloway (191-83, college: Indiana) scored 23 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Julyan Stone (198-88, college: UTEP) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Royal Hali's coach Stefanos Dedas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American point guard Randy Culpepper (183-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports) responded with 19 points and Nigerian power forward Chinemelu Elonu (206-87, college: Texas A&M) scored 19 points.
