Ninth-ranked Baunach (13-16) gave a tough game to third ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (21-8). Oettinger Rockets Gotha managed to secure only four-point victory 78-74. However their fans expected much easier game. It looked good early as Baunach took a 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Oettinger Rockets Gotha took control and eventually winning the game that evening in overtime by 4 points. American guard Carlton Guyton (193-90, college: Kent St.) nailed 18 points and 6 assists for the winning side and forward Marco Voeller (201-89) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds. Oettinger Rockets Gotha's coach Chris Ensminger allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
