No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Arkadia Lions (15-15) crushed bottom-ranked UBSC Graz (9-21) in Traiskirchen 98-62 on Sunday. The game without a history. Arkadia Lions led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding UBSC Graz to just 6 points in second quarter. Arkadia Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to UBSC Graz's 20. Arkadia Lions forced 20 UBSC Graz turnovers and outrebounded them 39-21 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Arkadia Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by UBSC Graz's players. It was a good game for Argentinian-Italian forward Fabricio Vay (207-86, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Arkadia Lions have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 15-15 record. UBSC Graz lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 21 games lost. Arkadia Lions will face league's second-placed Redwell Gunners Oberwart on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
