Second Stage Round 4: Mladost - Kakanj 97-57

An interesting game for Mladost (3-1) which hosted in Mrkonjic Grad 4th ranked Kakanj (1-3). Second ranked Mladost had an easy win 97-57. The game was mostly controlled by Mladost. Kakanj was better in fourth quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mladost forced 20 Kakanj turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. Mladost players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kakanj's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Aleksandar Radukic (207-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and international point guard Drasko Knezevic (186-93) who added 22 points, 6 assists and 8 steals during the contest. Four Mladost players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Obrad Tomic (206-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Croatian swingman Zeljko Palavra (194-82) scored 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mladost maintains second position in I with 3-1 record behind leader Igokea. Kakanj at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. Mladost will play against Spars Sarajevo (#6) on the road in the next round. Kakanj will play against Siroki Primorka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
