A very close game took place in Gediz between Bandirma Kir. and Gediz. Sixteenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (10-18) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Gediz (19-9). Bandirma Kir. managed to escape with a 1-point win 75-74 on Friday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bandirma Kir. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Final Genclik. Loser Gediz keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Sakarya BSB. Bandirma Kir. will meet at home higher ranked Sakarya BSB (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Gediz will play against the league's leader Tofas having rather not much hope for a victory.
