There was no surprise when 7th ranked Elazig (8-14) was outplayed on the road by second ranked Osmaniye (19-3) 76-38 on Saturday. Osmaniye held Elazig to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Osmaniye forced 26 Elazig turnovers. Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (193-89) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Tugce Inoentepe (173-87, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Osmaniye players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Sharon Houston (191-88, college: Indiana NW) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and Ozge Karatas (-96) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Osmaniye have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group B with 19-3 record having just two points less than leader Ormanspor. Newly promoted Elazig dropped to the eighth place with 14 games lost.
