Regular Season Round 19: Sezana - Triglav 72-68

The game between third ranked Triglav (12-7) and fifth ranked Sezana (11-8) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Triglav was defeated by Sezana in a tough game in Sezana 68-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Triglav. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-14. But Triglav won second period 22-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sezana made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Center Mirnes Husic (203-85) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jaka Zagorc (192-90) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Sezana's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Rok Jakobcic (194-91) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Aleksander Vojicic (188-87) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Triglav players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Sezana maintains fifth place with 11-8 record. Triglav at the other side dropped to the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Branik. Sezana are looking forward to face Crnomelj (#7) on the road in the next round. Triglav will play against Crnomelj (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
