No shocking result in a game in Sakaraya where fifth ranked Sakarya BSB (19-9) defeated 13th ranked Akhisar Bld (11-17) 73-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sakarya BSB led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American Sean Evans (203-88, college: St.John's) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. FYR Macedonian-American point guard Darius Washington (188-85, college: Memphis) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Five Sakarya BSB players scored in double figures. Center Hakan Yapar (202-84) produced 21 points and center Cem Coskun (209-87) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Sakarya BSB moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gediz. Akhisar Bld lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Sakarya BSB will face Bandirma Kir. (#16) in Balikesir in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Akhisar Bld will play at home against Balikesir and hope to win that game.
